There are rare cases that we want to emphasize names to some reasons like getting their attention or maybe acknowledging their presence especially on writing. In Korea, their people must surely know about red writing. It means to write in red ink most specifically when writing names of people. Koreans believed that it brings very bad luck and even cursing to death.

Koreans still believe until today on this old superstition. Most likely, the origin of this superstition arose from these facts that red often represents death and blood and deceased people’s name is written in red in the family registrar and on their funeral banners.
